Golfers this Saturday will be restricted to playing a round of golf with four clubs with a putter inclusive as the prestigious Chairman’s Cup swings into action at Entebbe golf club. ‘It’s one of our most popular events on our calendar and very challenging to the participants,” Oscar Ssemawere the club captain said. ‘The chairman’s cup involves a series of sporting events that include darts,snooker,tennis and climaxes with golf which is the most exciting and challenging for club members and visiting golfers.” The Chairman’s cup is sponsored by Marsh Incorporation Alexander Forbes, who have sponsored this annual event since 2008. Twenty professional golfers are currently playing in this tournament that started for them today and will conclude for them tomorrow while 200 golfers from Entebbe and other clubs will play their rounds on Saturday.
