To everyone, getting to a new position of office is quite a joy and will cause a smile on one’s face. When USPA president Mark Namanya appointed Sabiiti Muwanga as his vice for the next two years early this week, it was all a moment of elation for him.
“I am happy on being appointed,” the New Vision Deputy Sports Editor disclosed to Kawowo Sports. “It shows the trust people have in you,” he calmly added. But the task comes with so many things especially with a lot to do within the body itself.
“It all calls for hard work, team work and creativity in the next two years. I am also looking forward to bringing more elders on board.” Muwanga said. Several other scribes were selected onto different committees.
Red Pepper’s John Batanudde, Vision’s Samson Opus and Sam Mpoza were put on the photography committee. The Observer’s John Vianney Nsimbe and Isaac Mukasa are on the disciplinary panel while Daily Monitor’s Andrew Mwanguhya and Observer’s Robert Madoi lead the education committee.
