All eyes on Nile Special Beach Rugby tournament

All eyes and rugby fans will be eyeing some great and fun filled rugby when the Nile Special Beach rugby tournament gets underway at the Sports Beach in Entebbe on Saturday.

The draws for the fun filled tournament that will be held for the third year running will see 12 teams playing in two pools on a round robin basis with the top two of each pool facing each other in the final which has the winner walking away with 1 million Uganda shillings and the loser gets 500,000 shillings.

Pool A has Sqoop/Monitor, Chicks with Big Thighs(Fresh Cuts),Team G4S,SMS Media,Rwenzori Warriors and Team SuperSport while Pool B is made up of Fusion Africa,The Nile Special Lions,Sanyu FM Super Stars,Equator Catering,Sizzling Hot,Ogilvy Devils and Planet Sports Tag Superstars.

The one day event is sponsored by Nile Breweries, SuperSport 9 East, who will be recording the tournament for the first time and relaying on their prime East African channel, other sponsors are Daily Monitor,Rwenzori Water,Sanyu FM, Planet Sports,Equator Catering,Fusion Africa,Fresh Cuts,SMS Media and G4S.
