Kampala University Campus Ggaba proved they are the undisputed kings of the Kampala University Inter University Competition after they brushed a side all the other campuses that attended the championship to win the third edition of the Inter campus championship staged in Masaka.
The Champions successfully defended their trophy away in Masaka after beating resilient Luweero side which finished in Second place of the Championship.
As the theme for the competition was talent identification, many were identified and approximately 100 students shall be representing the University in the up coming East African University games to be held in Dar es salaam Tanzania. They include, David Emong, Martin Chemtingen, William Cheptoyek, Christine Nagudya, Fatuma Wabulujibwe, Winnie Nanyondo Isa Kosgezi and many more.
All the 100 selected athletes will head to camp on the 2nd January for intensive training before heading to Tanzania.
