Bogere to fight Abril on March 2 for WBA world title

Undefeated lightweight Sharif “The Lion”Bogere will go for the vacant WBA world lightweight title on March 2 against Cuban fighter Richard Abril in Las Vegas,Nevada at a yet to be named venue. The scheduled title fight will be shown on Showtime. “I have been waiting for this moment. It is a real dream come true. I will be ready for the fight,” Bogere told Boxingscene.com. The Ugandan prize fighter will be eyeing to become the sixth Ugandan world champion over the year’s the country has produced the finest fighters on the continent and around the world.
