Ruthless in their conception, fearless in their operation, the MTN Heathens oriented the recently promoted Sammerkamp to a 70 – 00 win as the latter are yet to get used to playing in the Super 8 among the kings and dons. In their next fixture, they face the Dmark Kobs who also happen to be MTN heathens’ arch rivals from way back!

The question among the fans is, will the Dmark Kobs match or beat the standards set by their arch rivals the MTN Heathen in their face off with Sammekamp? That we shall find out come Friday  1st Feb 2013. On the other side of the coin, the MTN Heathens will face Makerere based Xfm Impis in their second fixture at the Impis’ home ground.

To the rugby die-hards, the wait has come to an end as the action has resumed and a short analysis of the 2013 Nile Special Super 8 League, the pressure is on for all the participating teams. After the Kampala Football Rugby Club land scandal, the Kampala rugby club based clubs i.e Dmark Kobs, G4S Pirates and Rhinos are settling slowly as the season progresses.

Heathens having a solid team slightly have an advantage over the other teams. But having lost to Dmark Kobs in the Uganda Cup finals last year, will they get immunity against Justin Kimono’s Speed or Kevin Mackmot’s accurate penalties?
