Coton Sport Garua (Cameroon) Vs URA FC (Uganda)

Coton Sport’s meeting with the Ugandan Revenue Authority on Sunday has the potential to be one of the ties of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The Cameroon giants, who were finalists of this competition in 2008, will likely be favourites going into the game as URA FC are currently not playing at their best.
URA did not originally qualify for this competition, but were entered as Uganda cup winners when league winners Express SC declined to enter the tournament.
Newly appointed URA FC Coach Paul Nkata recently stated that his side will be aiming for a draw in Cameroun and then finish off their opponents in the return leg in Kampala.

“I’m still copying up [assessing] with the team but we are working hard ahead of the encounter,” new coach Paul Nkata told SuperSport.com. “We can beat Coton Sport only if we are focused but a point in Cameroon will work for us. Right now everyone is training and focused on the match.”

The tax collectors left for Cameroon on Thursday with a 38 man contingent albeit with a squad less by two players yet 12 officials made the trip. Former SC Villa players Erukana Nkugwa and Asuman Alishe were not included in the squad that has only two strikers in Erisha Ssekisambu and Benson Ociti.
With Robert Ssentongo who has been the club’s main goal getter for the last two seasons now at St. George FC in Ethiopia, it promises to be a difficult tie since the available two are inexperienced at this level.

URA FC has a poor record when it comes to CAF competitions as they have never scored a goal away from home. However, they held Lesotho’s Correctional Forces last year to a barren draw. Their best result ever away from home. These two sides met previously in this competition in 2007, with Coton Sport winning the home leg 3-0. They played to a 0-0 draw in Kampala.
URA SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Yasin Mugabi and Allan Owiny
Defenders: Simeon Masaba, Derrick Walulya, Allan Munaaba, Sam Senkoomi, Sam Mubiru
Midfielders: Moses Feni, Augustine Nsumba, Osama Farouk, Oscar Agaba, Owen Kasule, Saidi Kyeyune, Yayo Lutimba
Forwards: Erisa Sekisambu and Benson Ociti
