Top seeds Duncan Mugabe and David Oringa, are both eyeing a nail-biting finale at the Best of Best tennis championship that is being held Center Court Sports Club,Lugogo.
The two players are poised to meet in the final on Saturday at Center court after they breezed into tomorrow’s quarter-finals.
Mugabe, seed two sailed to the next stage easily with a 6-0,6-0,6-0 win over Charlie Okurut while top seed David Oringa was another 6-0,6-0,6-0 winner over Victor Drile. Seed three Robert Buyinza also moved into the next stage witha 6-2,6-3,6-1 win over James Bayego.
The week long tournament is sponsored by Arthur Segawa, the managing director of Center Court Sports Club to a tune of 10 million Uganda shillings.
Today’s Quarter-finals will see David Oringa taking of Kalungi Carey, Robert Buyinza takes on Steven Komakech,while Duncan Mugabe takes on Edward Odochen.
