Nile Special Super Cup Play offs

Saturday 6th April (5th/6th playoff)

Sadolin Mongers Vs XFM Impis (Entebbe S.S grounds)

7th/8th Playoff

Rhinos versus Mutoni Warriors (Legends Sports bar & rest-Former Kampala RC)

Perennial National Rugby outfits, Sadolin Mongers and Makerere University side, Xfm Impis approach this Weekend’s 5th/6th place play off fixture with caution and precision.

There is a lot to play for but nothing overshadows the fact that the two giant killing sides will be merely playing to end the 2013 league season in a respectable position.

Monger’s Wako Erukana, who has had a descent season with the Entebbe based outfit believes it is Mongers’ time to avenge their 24-22 loss against Impis during the regular season fixture played at Makerere University rugby grounds.

“Impis were a little bit lucky that day but given the great preparations, we shall carry the day on Saturday”, Wako said.

Impis’ Adian Bukenya is expectant the Entebbe trip at the dreaded “House of pain” will yield positive results for the student team. “Its a difficult ground, but teamwork will see us score and finich in a respectable position”, he tells Kawowo Sports.

In the other playoff game to be played at Legends Rugby grounds, Rhinos will face Summerkamp, the only team yet to win a game in the league this season in a clash to determine the 7th and 8th placed teams. The loser will be playing in the relegation play-offs later next month.Meanwhile, Helen Buteme,  the Uganda Lady Cranes Captain is set to mark her debut for Premiership side Thurrock T-birds on Sunday April 7th.

She will be playing wing or full back. This is a milestone for Uganda as she is the first Ugandan woman to play in the English Women’s Rugby Premiership.
