Team Malinga and Team Komakech will switch off the lights this evening when the third edition of the exciting filled Castle Lite Friday Night Lights concludes at the YMCA basketball courts at Wandegeya.
After several Fridays of slam dunking shows, partying and street basketball Castle Lite Friday Night Lights (FNL) comes to an end with Team Koma taking on Team Malinga for the big prize.
“The Friday Night Lights has come a long way and you have seen it has become bigger and better over the two years,” Cedric Babu, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kinetic Management group that is managing the event. “I must say its the biggest social event on the social event calendar and you can see the celebrities, the players are all happy together with the group of corporate companies that are involved in the event.”
Enroute to the final Henry Malinga’s team beat two time winners Joseph Ikong’s team 67-64 in the semi-finals while Most Valuable Player Ben Komakech’s team beat Norman Blick’s team 65-64 in a thrilling encounter.
This evening eight million will be up for grabs in the KCB Blind Shot challenge. The event will also feature lots of entertainment this year’s edition is sponsored by Castle Lite, KCB,Samsung,Rwenzori Water,91.3 Capital FM,Channel O.
