The third season of the Guinness Football Challenge continues to elicit mixed reactions as Ugandan contestants face stiff competition from their East African counterparts in the competition that tests contestants’ football prowess in skill and brains.

After the fourth episode which was screened on April 17, Uganda and Tanzania sit at the bottom of the pool with none of their contestants having progressed to the quarter final round of the show which will be Pan-African as Ghana and Cameroon join in the Challenge.

The Pan-African Guinness Football Challenge which premiered on March 27 will be on the screens for three months and the excitement is expected to increase we approach the quarter finals.

Uganda is being represented by a fourteen man team has taken on the challenge competing against Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon and Ghana.

Contestants in the Guinness Football Challenge stand a chance of winning US$250,000 as the grand prize and all eyes will be on Ugandans as they seek to play for their country’s pride.
