Libya Vs Uganda – Eleventh June Stadium, Tripoli
Gor Mahia striker Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma and defender Israel Emuge joined the rest of the Cranes players on Tuesday morning as the team prepares for the international friendly game against Libya.
The duo appeared in fine shape as they underwent a two hour training session under the watchful eye of Cranes Coaches Mulitin Sredojevic, Sam Timbe and Kefa Kisala.
SC Victoria University’s Ali Kimera, Denis Guma and Savio Kabugo were also present for the first time since the team commenced training on Friday 23. The trio had been busy with their club as it prepared for the Uganda Cup final which they eventually won edging Vipers SC 5-3 on spot kicks after a 1-1 draw in the 90 minutes.
Their presence brought to 25; the number of players in camp at Sky Hotel, Ntinda.
Meanwhile, the Cranes will travel to Libya on Wednesday 12.00pm aboard Emirates Airlines and not at 1.00am as earlier indicated.
Only 15 players will travel with six others expected to link up with the squad in Dubai before connecting to Tripoli.
