Uganda may pride in having a very commendable home advantage but Saturday can likely turn to be a night mare for the home fans who will throng Namboole Stadium to support the Cranes against Liberia.

The Fifa World Cup Qualifier’s second round opener is one that Uganda dearly need to garner a trio of points in order to keep counting chances for Brazil next year but the Lone Star side is undoubtedly ready to spoil a likely party.

“We know Uganda as a tough team at home,” Liberia coach Jericho Nagbe told Kawowo Sports. And many players including the head of delegation George Weah coincide with this.

But the former player promised a surprise at the Cranes’ fortress. “I expect a good game because all teams will want to avoid defeat,”

“Among all the teams you have beaten here, you know something and a times the knitty gritty about them,” he added.

“For us, we are unknown quantities. Not many can predict our type of play or strategy.”

Its a clear warning to the opponents that fingers will crossed, teeth will have to grit in the stands not until Chadian Adam Cordier’s final whistle.

Uganda last suffered defeat at Namboole back in 2005 when Benni McCarthy scored a lone goal as South Africa won 1-0 in the 2006 World Cup Qualifiers.
