Ahead of their trip to Malawi for the INF/Africa Cup Netball Championships slated for 24th up to 29th June, the She-Cranes National Netball team has been stuck at a financial dead end.
“We are kindly requesting the President of Uganda H.E Yoweri Museveni, Parliament and all Ugandans to come up and support the team in any way” General Secretary, Uganda Netball Federation, Annet Kisomose said.
“Our preparations started with intensive training of the National team at Nakivubo, both in the morning and evening, and so far training is going on well, but the ladies need a lot of support. It can be water or anything to motivate them. We are still in strong Communication with the hosts in Malawi, and about 20 countries have confirmed participation in this 3rd edition of these championships.”
She also added that, “the Uganda Netball Federation welcomes any contribution from all well wishers and fans to the Federation through Mobile Money or their Stanbic Bank Account.”
