NIC Netball team was in its own world as they thumped UPDF 42-30 last weekend. Their truimph over UPDF was geared up by great team work from brilliant Martha Soigi, Lukia Meeme, Caroline Nyafwono and Birungi Obua.
League defending champions NIC have etched their name into history books this season, after going four games unbeaten.
It was no bleak encounter the weekend before, when the same NIC, overwhelmingly destroyed stubborn rivals prisons 62-39. However Prisons Netball Club continued the chase when they returned last weekend, with a great victory over KCCA, 48-35. Currently, NIC seem closest to another consecutive league title unless its challengers step up their game.
