As the Uganda Cranes were celebrating their victory against Angola the intercontinental champion Ronald Mugula was also in the ring in Germany. Unfortunately he didn’t enjoy the much anticipated win against Russian kick boxer Alexander Nageav as the match was disqualified.
A disappointed Mugula explained that Alexander ran into his elbow as it wasn’t allowed. After this elbow knock Alexander wasn’t able stand up again and it’s from that point that the fight was cancelled.
But he further explains what happened as he punched Alexander on the head, then a back feast as Alexander didn’t move backward as he ran in to his elbow which he claims was good by the Russian who had come to challenge him. Mugula has apologized to his fans about the incident promising better fights next time to his fans.
