It’s now confirmed that former Cranes midfield gem Charles Livingstone Mbabazi has penned a two year deal at 2012/13 Fufa Big League Champions Bright Stars FC.

This was confirmed to Kawowo Sports by club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ahmed Hussein in an exclusive interview.

“He has signed a two year renewable contract with us (Bright Stars)”, said Hussein. “We are happy that we have secured his services and just hope we get the best out him”, he added.

Mbabazi will be joined by former Coach Kayanja (who guided the club to topflight), former Cranes midfield gem Jamil Kyambadde who spent last season as a player at the club while former Police FC goalie Eddy Kaweesa as goal keeping coach on the coaching staff.

According to Ahmed Hussein, the Kawempe based club will maintain its relationship with Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) over coach Kayanja to continue offering his technical services to the club.

“Like it happened over the years, our relationship with UPDF over Coach Kayanja is maintained and he will stay with the club as part of the coaching staff”.
