Toro’s Richard Baguma and Collins Acellam, winners of last year’s grand finale in the Dasani Golf Tour series will be among the 24 teams vying to win this year’s tour on August 10 at the Uganda Golf Club. weekend in Fort Portal.
The two players where winners in last year’s final where they where representing their club from Toro. Baguma returned with 34 points while Acellam had 29 points with other members George Kaihura and Chris Arinetwe with 37 and 42 points respectively.
Kabale and Kilembe Mines Club had a qualifying team each.
John Mwalimu the Dasani Golf Tour Director on behalf of the sponsor asked each of the clubs for an extra qualifying team each.
At the Grand finale, we expect three teams from Mbarara and Toro and two teams from Kilembe Mines and Kabale.
