Uganda’s IM Elijah Emojong drew with fellow International Master Gluckman David (rated 2250) from South Africa in the second round of the DSK Grandmaster Norm Section 2013 that was played in Cape Town.
Emojong had earlier drew with USA GM Arnold Marc (rated 2525). The Ugandan is now scheduled to face Zimbabwe’s IM Robert Gwaze (rated 24 in the third round to be played on Monday.
The Ugandan player is now having one point out of a possible two, but good enoughstill unbeaten.
Netherland’s grandmaster Tiviakov Sergei (rated 2654) and GM Ipatov Aleander (rated 2583) from Turkey at 2 points apiece are leading the 14 man log. The two GMs were schedueld to take on each other in the third round on Monday.
