Uganda’s heavyweight boxer Kenneth ‘Bad News’ Odeke is set to lock horns with Iranian Opponent Sayed Mohammed Abbas for the WBF title tonight at Kati kati restuarant.

Abbas arrived at Entebbe international airport yesterday at 1:30 pm and threatened to finish off Odeke in the third round.

A couple of hours later, the duo faced each other with extreme fury at the weigh in. Slightly lighter, Odeke could not wait for today, as he pushed his opponent resulting into a scuffle only to be saved by the judges and officials. Abbas weighed 95kg.

“I am the one who pushed him and let him know that he has not come here to dance or eat” Odeke unregrettably admitted.

“He is going to face the best of all, heavyweight in Uganda. If he is not ready enough he is going to die.”

After the weigh in, both were subjected to blood pressure tests by doctors before confirming all were in good shape. Odeke has won all his three fights since he joined professional boxing and is yet to be matched.
