Team sixteen from Uganda Golf Club, where declared winners of the third edition of the exciting Dasani Golf Series that concluded on Saturday at the par 72 Kitante golf course.

The team of Charles Kareeba, who scored 42 stableford points others on the team, included Duncan Kagwa, who returned with 38 points while Getrude Kityo and Anne Abeja Muhwezi scored 31 and 33 points respectively.

The winners will being flying out to play at the Pattaya Golf Resorts in Thailand from October 9-16 in Far East Asia just like last year’s winners

Team 11 was runner up with 142 points and was lead by top lady golfer Flavia Namakula, who scored 34 points  while the Uganda Ladies Golf Union president Jasper Kamukama, had 37 points while Lydia Mutesi and junior golfer Judith Kyomugisha finished with 38 and 33 points each.

This year’s edition had record 54 teams with winners from the previous qualifiers from Entebbe, Jinja, Fort Portal, Mbarara, Kabale, and Kilembe all vying to claim the overall winners spot.

It’s the third year running that Century Bottling Company, under its brand Dasani Water has sponsored the event that has seen winning teams travel to Far East Asia. The previous winners have come from Entebbe and FortPortal.
