The Handball Super league swings into action this weekend at Kyambogo University grounds with the men and women’s league taking center stage.
Police Metro will renew their rivalry with Prison Spears this weekend, a replay of the first round closing fixture where Prison Spears beat Police Metro 38-27.
Prison Spears will be inclined at Gilbert Ojok’s brilliance from the first round, that guided them to the charts top, two points ahead of defending champions Uganda People’s Defence Forces.
Police Metro is expected to rely on impressive Frank Semujju ahead of their weekend game.
In addition to the new league action, an All Stars handball event has been scheduled for September 14, at the same venue.
Four select teams comprising the league’s best players will face each other, grouped into South and North for the women and men.
