The Uganda Rugby Union has boosted the National under 19 Rugby team by contracting another South African coach to join fellow countryman in the preparation of 35 players ahead of the CAR under 20 Tournament (African Championships) to be held in Tunis, Tunisia at the end of this month.

“We are going to join the national team, U19 during their training camp and help them with strength and conditioning” URU President Andrew Owor said. “We are back, trying to build the coaching structures especially at the lower level.”

On match day one, Tuesday 27th August, Uganda will face hosts, Tunisia in the second semi-final, and later face Morocco or Zambia according to the results.

The final and battle for 3rd or 4th position will take place on Saturday 31st August in Tunis, Tunisia. Meanwhile Uganda Rugby Union has released the draws for the Nile Special Uganda Rugby Cup which will get underway this Saturday, 17th August at Kyadondo Rugby grounds, and Legends Rugby grounds.
