Nile Special Pool Championships
9:30 a.m – 9:45 pm at Lugogo Indoor Stadium
A specially organized workshop for umpires who will officiate at the u-coming Nile Special Open Pool Championships ended on Wednesday in Kampala.
The training last for 3 days at Pacify Motel in Wakaliga.
128 pool players are set to toss it out at Lugogo indoor stadium this Saturday. Favourite, Oscar Ocackon, a Ntinda based banker, who qualified from Rock Catalina was drawn to play against Innocent Rukundo while Wilson Josh, a pool attendant at the Namirembe based Leisure Tec was drawn to play against Billy Barungi.
The Nile Special Pool Championships is the biggest pool event of the year sponsored by Nile Breweries under the brand Nile Special.
The winner will smile home with a brand new car, a toyota progress and 2 million plus a pool table.
