Following Ugandan Under 20 women’s historic match winning performance away from home against her South Sudan counterparts with a 9-0 humiliation at the National Stadium in Juba a fort night ago, the return leg is set this Saturday at the Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
“I will use the players who never got a chance to feature in the first leg”, says Head coach, Kaziba. Uganda’s team has only trained for two days owing to the fact that most of the players have been in schools.
Viola Nambi, who scored a hat trick, Ritah Kivumbi, Hasfah Nassuna, Skipper Stellah Nassuna and Rukia Queen, all scorers in the first leg are set to get on the score net again.
The winner in this fixture will then play Egypt. From there 8 teams will be grouped to play in the African Football Women championship in Namibia come October 2014 where the top 3 winners will straight away qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to be held in Canada.
