Nkumba University Vs MUBS
At Nkumba Univ Sports Arena – 3 pm
The last time Makerere University Business School (MUBS) visited Nkumba University, they completely left heart broken souls for the hosts’ players, technical staff, the fans and well wishers too. MUBS won the tense but thrilling fixture by a 1st minute strike to handle the title to Makerere University.
MUBS Coach, Charles Ayeiko, fresh from a 6-1 drubbing of Mbarara University last week believes last year’s victory at Nkumba University was not by chance, but hard work and the believe from his players haboured prior the fixture.
“I will come to Nkumba for a win definitely”, Ayeiko, who also handled relegated FUFA Super league side, Water FC confidently spoke to Kawowo Sports.
His opposite number, Patrick Ssebuliba has called for his charges to be composed before the home fans and a positive result will come. “Goals and positive results come with composure”, head coach, Sebuliba reckons.
Nkumba University’s back line of goalie Ronald Mutebi, Skipper Douglas Muganga, Masereka Mubaraka should be wary of the marauding wild runs of tricky winger Julius Malungumu (a first year student), Skipper Maxwell Okello and the ever green Juma Shaban Omara. The latter scored a quick first half hat trick in MUBS’ 6-1 home victory over Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
Nkumba University themselves have a sharp front line spearheaded by the physical Mbogo Striker, Faizo Muwawo, supplied by two of the league’s most exciting wingers, Martin Sseruwagi (a Kampala Kids League Product) operating the left and the pacy-tricky Lubowa Nicholas on the right.
In the middle of the Pack, Yunusu Kaddu is likely to enjoy his free role given the fact that MUBS’ anchorman and mr. dependable, Jessy Lukoki is out, having been red carded in the previous game. Lukoki is great game reader who usually has the positional discipline of a typical number 6 once on the football turf.
“We have 25 licenses, Jessy is a big miss, but i assure you we shall not start 10. We have his replacement”, MUBS Coach echoed with a change in the vocal chord.
