Entebbe based national golfer Willy Deus Kitata, is in Holland under going a series of golf lessons and competitions in Amsterdam under the watchful eye of Dutch professional tour golfer Fernand Osther and other touring professionals.
“I am here to work and improve on my all round game,” Kitata said. “It has not been an easy one for me, but in the long run it will help my game get better.”
Kitata, will return just in time for preparations of the national team ahead of East Africa Golf Challenge, that will be held in Kenya from October 28-November 1.
The Uganda Golf Union will send a strong side that is likely to include Kitata, others most likely to make up the squad include Uganda Amateur Golf Open champion Peter Ssendawula, Daniel Baguma, Titus Okwong, Happy Robert, Ronald Rugumayo, Adolf Muhumuza, Lawrence Muhenda, Ronald Bukenya just to mention.
The Entebbe based golfer has taken part in several international tournaments across the boarder losing to Kenya’s Nelson Simwa, in the Kenya Amateur Matchplay Championship, but then went on to win the Burundi Open.
