Kenya has once again stamped their authority on regional Volleyball dominance with yet another victory over the tourney’s whipping girls Tanzania in the Zone 5 women’s FIVB World championships group Q qualifier match played at the MTN Arena in Kampala on Saturday.

Kenya ends the championships on a high note after winning all the 3 games with maximum set scores. They beat Egypt 3-0 in the opener before winning with a same scoreline over the hosts and Tanzania in the second and third games respectively.

In the third and last game of the tourney for Team Kenya, Coach David Lungah’o could even afford to rest her top guns in setter, Jane Wacu, attacker, Evaline Makuto, Mercy Moim, Esther Wangeci and Elisabeth Nafula, but could still manage to humiliate Tanzania, who have lost all the matches at the championships in Kampala.

The Kenyans now officially becomes the first team of the two expected from Zone 5 group Q to qualify for the next stages of the qualifiers to be held later this yet at a venue to be communicated.
