Game City won 3 and drew one of her 4 fixtures at Club Lumas during the week 8 of the national pool league tagged the Pilsner League of Kings.
They got a walk over over Kupa, and were 7-1 winners over Capital Night, 5-3 victors over Rotex before being held by Takers 4 all.
“We shall maintain the momentum and do wonders to be crowned champions by the close of the year”, an excited Victoria Namuyanja, one of Game City’s revelations of the season after a long maternity leave spoke to Kawowo Sports.
In the other games played, Capital Night over came Kupa 6-2, home girls Lumas led by Grace Namulindwa shocked Hot Pool 5-3 while Rock Catalina beat Kaydalu 5-3 among other results.
The men’s league one saw Indigo shock leaders Hot Pool12-8 while Global.com were successful visitors to Jinja’s Lillian in their 13-7 sweet victory.
The Senior pool league came forth with a few surprising results. Ntinda based Rock Catalina led by Oscar Ocackon held high flying Skin Samona to a tense 10 all draw while run away leaders, Scrap Yard continued their grip on the log leader-board following 12 -8 win over Takers.
The Pilsner League of Kings resumes this weekend with various games on the card.
