Ezakiel Danyal is yet to debut a professional kick boxing fight. In his 11 amateur fights, the Adjumanii born fighter has registered 7 knock-outs, 3 wins with points and only one loss that he terms ‘Controversial’.
The towering dark skinned 85 kg weighing resident of Muyenga feels he is in the right frame to fight Titus Tugume, who recently lost to the vocal Moses Golola after just 10 seconds on 30th August 2013 at Freedom City.
“Let Titus get ready because I have been training hard for my initial professional kick-boxing fight”,a confident sounding Danyal tells Kawowo Sports.
Born on 29th November 1982 to Francis Echi and Falista Drania, both of Adjumani, Dayanal was rised in Adjugopi where he also attended his primary and secondary school education at Miciaderi and Bala schools respectively.
As a refugee child, in the year 2000, Danyal trans located to Cyprus, Limori where he lived for close to 10 years.
In Cyprus, he teamed up with members at the Ju-Jistu club and he managed tp sharpen his fighting skills.
Today, Danyal trains at the Sojurn Church, found in Kibuli. He trains with Pastor Daniel Morrison, an American who can speak the native luganda with the ease of a sharp sword meaovouring through a plantation.
“Danyal is a committed fighter. He needs to improve on the Clitching and we believe he is ready to enter the ring and face anybody”, Morrison, was Christened Kintu by the Kibuli locals speaks of the fighter.
When Kawowo Sports approached Titus Tugume for a comment, the calm UPDF kickboxer signaled warning bells to Danyal.
“Now, I have no mercy on anyone, I will hit him because for me I am the rock”, Tugume bragged.
Whether, this fight materializes, lets keep our fingers crossed.
