DMark Kobs emerged victorious in their enthralling encounter with G4S Pirates at Legends grounds on Saturday, remaining unbeaten in their first two league games.

Kobs created a quite big gap between G4S Pirates with in the first 30 minutes, as the scores tallied 15-6. G4S Pirates’ captain Marvin Odong was later given a yellow card for a tackle on Kobs’ Justin Kimono.

DMark Kobs maintained their dominance up to the last 10 minutes of the first half, paying off a Justin Kimono try and James Injongat’s conversion into a half time score, Kobs 22 G4S Pirates 6.

Unlucky G4S Pirates had their captain Marvin Odong limp off in the second half, as their new recruit, Kevin Markmot, from Mutoni warriors made a good penalty kick, raising their score to 9.

DMark Kobs finally sealed off their victory courtesy of Cyrus Wathum’s try and James Injongat’s conversion.

In the other games played, MTN Heathens walloped new league entrants Lira Bulls, 70-12 in Lira while Toyota Buffaloes beat home side Sadolin Mongers 19-13 in Entebbe.

Four teams remain unbeaten so far, in this rugby league edition namely MTN Heathens, DMark Kobs, Toyota Buffaloes and Ezee Money Rhinos.
