With less than five days to the international friendly game against Uganda Cranes, Amavubi Coach Eric Nshimiyimana has named his provisional 26 man squad for the game.
The Amavubi are set to take on Uganda Cranes this Saturday 16 at Mandela National stadium, Namboole in a game aimed at fine tuning both sides ahead of the forthcoming 2013 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup scheduled between November 27 to December 12 in Kenya.
Yanga SC midfield gem Haruna Niyonzima, APR FC forward Jean Baptist Mugiraneza and Rayon Sport striker Meddie Kagere are some of the high profile players on the team while ex-Proline FC players Charles Tibingana and Andrew Buteera who ply their trade with APR FC are also part of the squad.
According to the Rwanda Football Association (Ferwafa), the team is expected in Kampala on Friday 15 just 24 hours to the game.
The last friendly game between these two nations came in January this year and ended in a two all draw.
Current Uganda Cranes Coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic was the man at the helm of the Amavubi then with Bobby Williamson currently at Kenya Premier league side Gor Mahia in charge of Uganda Cranes.
