League One: Trust and Obey

This Saturday, 21st December 2013, the Pilsner league of kings respective pool division champions will be officially crowned at a glamorous ceremony that will be held at Capital Pub in Kabalagala.

The Senior Pool League – Men’s Div 1, Pool League One – Men’s Div 2 and the Ladies Pool League champions will be rewarded with trophies and other associated prizes.

Mengo Kisenyi based Scrap Yard shall be crowned Kings of the Pilsner Senior Pool League Division, Jinja’s Trust & Obey crowned King of the Pilsner Pool League One Division while Game City shall be crowned the best in the Pilsner Ladies Pool League.

The best performing 4 clubs in the Pilsner Pool League One shall be promoted to the Pilsner Senior Pool League while the worst performing 4 clubs in the Senior division shall be relegated to the league one division.

“As expected at the beginning of the year, this season has been the most competitive in the history of the pool league because of the innovation of monthly best player awards and better cash prizes for top individuals and clubs in all league divisions thanks to Pilsner’s UGX 200 Million Sponsorship that PAU received last year. We have seen better skills and a high degree of professionalism as players have been fighting for the Pilsner Monthly Best Player Accolades. We thank East African Breweries for supporting the sport and look forward to even stronger relations” said Farouk Kisuze, the PAU Chairman.

After the end of the Pilsner League of Kings the pool season shall end with the PAU Christmas Cup, also sponsored by Pilsner, in a two day event at Capital Pub, Kabalagala starting immediately after the close of the league at the same venue.
