Ex-Utoda FC forward Hussein Zzinda has sealed a move to former Kenya Premier League champions Mathare United.

Zzinda joined as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with relegated Naivasha based side Karuturi Sports.

The financial details of the deal and the longevity of the contract were not revealed but Kawowo Sports has learnt that the player signed a one and half year deal.

The Ugandan export joined the KPL ranks in 2012 after impressing with Utoda FC in the Uganda Super League where he was spotted by ex-Karuturi Coach Micheal Nam and was the club’s top scorer last season with four goals same as Muhammad Mwachiponi.

Mathare United finished 13th in the KPL last season.
