Uganda Swimming Federation has unveiled a 49 event calendar for the new swimming season it includes three major events the CANA Zone III and IV swimming championships, the FINA Masters Swimming Championship in Montreal, Canada and the FINA World Swimming Championships in Doha, Qatar in December.
“It’s a busy season for the federation and we have top of our agenda the hosting of the Cana Zone III and IV swimming championship, the FINA Masters swimming championships, the Commonwealth games and the World Youth Games in China,” Moses Mwase, the general secretary of USF said. “We shall be sending teams to all the international events around the globe.”
USF’s calendar will see them send a team of swimmers to the 15th FINA World Masters Swimming Championships in Montreal, Canada, they will also send a side to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland in August and Summer Youth Games in China in the same month. They will also send a side to the 12th FINA World Swimming Championships in Doha, Qatar.
