Former title challenger Sharif “The Lion” Bogere, has returned to training after a long injury lay-out that has kept inactive since March 2013 when he last fought.
Bogere, posted a Youtube clip to his fans training with his long time trainer Kenny Adams at the Long Life Fit Gym, in Las Vegas Nevada.
The Las Vegas based prize fighter is returning to training after a long lay out that saw him suffer a torn achilles tendon that has been affecting him since 2012.
“I am looking forward to returning to the ring and with God’s prayers I believe sooner or later I will be back,” Bogere told Kawowo Sports late last year. “It has been alot of agony for me to stay out of action, but have undergoing rehab for my long term injury.”
Bogere, in March 2013 he was challenger for World Boxing Association World Lightweight title which he lost to US based Cuban fighter Richard Abril. Bogere is 23-1(15 KOs) and is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions that is owned by boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya.
