Intersport International Promotions Limited, a renown professional boxing promotional firm has signed a mega deal with NBS Televsion to advertise, seek sponsors and televise boxing fights organised by the firm.
“I am glad to announce that all the paper work has been finalized and NBS Televison has entered a long term partnership with Intersport to market boxing fights, promote boxers and televise all the bouts live to the audience in Uganda”, Maureen Mulangira, the firm’s director told Kawowo Sports.
Kawowo Sports reliably affirms that NBS television will be responsible to seek for sponsors in coordination with Intersport, market the upcoming bouts to the public and televise live the fights.
“We shall use all forums of advertising courtesy of NBS T.V to make the public aware of upcoming fights”, she explained.
The first bout to benefit from this positive development will be the upcoming middle weight African Title fight between Uganda’s Medi Kabona and Malawi’s Chinwemwe Chichiata on 28th February 2014 at the MTN Lugogo Arena in Kampala.
Other fights on the day will see Hudson Muhumuza battle Kenneth Odeke while Edward Kakembo will fight Raymond Ssentongo in the Super Batam Weight.
NBS also televised live some action of the 2013 Basketball play off games.
