Unofficial reports indicate that Uganda Cranes and Vipers Football Club striker Yunus Sentamu will be joining Durban outfit AmaZulu this month, sources close to the club have confirmed.
The 19-year-old caught the attention of various clubs across the Absa Premiership following his impressive displays with the Cranes in the CAF African Nations Championships last month.
Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates were linked with Sentamu’s services over the course of the January transfer window but rumours started to die when his club Viper reportedly took him off the market.
According to MTNFootball, Craig Rosslee’s Amazulu side is the latest to pick interest in signing the player.
Sentamu is currently waiting for his visa to be cleared before reporting for duty with the Usuthu. He also scored three times for Uganda in the CHAN tournament last month.
