The 2013/14 National Netball league reaches its peak today at Namboole stadium.

The six teamed league that has no sponsor, will end with four games.

Table leaders, National Insurance Company Netball Club need just a point from Uganda Christian University (UCU) to clinch the trophy.

At 9am, UCU takes on Police Netball Club at court two. In the other fixtures, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) faces Prisons at court one. Blue Stars, who are currently at bottom of the table will finally take on KCCA at 3pm at court two.

“Some groups of people have tried to fight against us (The Federation) but we have tried our level best to wind up this league”. Mpoza Dennis, an official from Uganda Netball Federation told Kawowo Sports reporter.

“But this year we are going to be more organized and we’re expecting a big turn up of teams” Mpoza added.

NIC are the table leaders followed by Prisons. UCU lies in third place; Police are fourth, KCCA in fifth while Blue Stars are in sixth potion.
