“Motocross is one of the fastest growing sports in Uganda with large spectator numbers and high levels of safety coupled with well organized events, and therefore our continued support is unmatched in promoting an activation that gives the brand a befitting representation.” Dogo Singh, UAP’s Business Development Manager said at the UAP offices in Kampala on Wednesday.

While unveiling the sponsorship package, UAP’s Assistant General Manager Operations Paul Muhame said the sponsorship package shows commitment to the sport and that UAP Insurance had pushed a notch higher with a cash contribution for event organizational costs and a policy to cover the spectators’ safety.

UAP Insurance Uganda announced that it will support the 1st round of the National motocross championship round organized by the Speedway Motorsports Club (SMOC) with a cash sponsorship and a public liability policy.

Arthur Blick Junior, from the SMOC club and major stakeholder in the sport expressed his gratitude to UAP’s support towards this event and promised to ensure the fringe benefits to this relationship are realized to both parties all through the season.
