Kampala City Council Authority(KCCA) FC progressed to round of 32 of Uganda Cup after beating Kamwokya United 3-0 on Saturday.

Herman Wasswa opened the deadlock for KCCA in the early minutes of the game played at Philp Omomdi stadium. Kamwokya’s Simon Olee scored an own goal. Habib Kavuma added the third goal for KCCA before 1st half was called off. 

Meanwhile, KCCA’s CAF champions league opponents, Nkana FC beat Red Devils 3-1 in finals of Zambia Charity Shield Cup. Simon Bwala had a brace for Nkana in 2nd half. From a set piece, Evans Kalulu netted a header to make it 3-1 for the day’s victors who conceded an early goal in 1st half.

KCCA play away to Nkana next month.
