After failing all odds at the concluded Uganda International tournament, Uganda’s seed one, Wilson Tukire has no time to waste.
Tukire is now targeting the forthcoming Commonwealth games in Glasgow, Scotland. “I have lost it all here, but my target now is to prepare well for the Commonwealth games” Wilson Tukire who has already qualified for the event told Kawowo Sports in an exclusive interview.
Tukire lost to Austrian Lewis Wang 2-0 (21-17, 21-12) in the men’s singles category at the Uganda International tournament over the weekend. “Yes, the Austrian dominated me on the net, yet it is where my strength is.” Tukire told Kawowo Sports. “It was so unfortunate that he Lewis Wang beat me”. Tukire added.
The Commonwealth games are scheduled to take place on 23rd-July to 3rd-August-2014.
