Kenneth ‘Mr. Bad News’ Odeke was hedged in by vendors and fans at Kisekka Market gazing with rapt attention, in anticipation of Wednesday drama, ahead of the Friday 28th February, Lugogo MTN Arena bout, against Hudson Muhumuza.

Finally, after several drills with trainers and other boxers, the on-lookers were blessed when Odeke stood up to expectation, promising to ‘walk the talk’ come this Friday.

“We are going to see a battle between a genius and a senior boxer. “For me, I know am a champion and I know that guy(Muhumuza) can do nothing.” “He speaks a lot of crap but I know am going to make him sleep,” Odeke warned loudly.

His opponent Hudson Muhumuza who was present, later failed to hold back, replying in a manner that depicted Odeke’s ‘to the ring’ journey worth nothing worrying. “People who are not professionals behave like animals.” “I can not show my techniques here, I have to wait for him in the ring,” Hudson replied amid cheers.

The duo lock horns in battle for the Super Heavyweight National title, Kenneth Odeke returning after his last fight, that had him battered in the sixth round against Iranian Sayed Nassab in August last year.

The fight will be a curtain raiser for the reigning national middle weight champion, Meddie Ssebyala, who is vying for the vacant Africa Super middleweight title against Chimwemwe Chiotcha on the same night.
