In what remains as one of the biggest and most cheered local night of professional fights in Uganda, Keneth ‘Bad News’ Odeke beat Hudson Muhumuza in the 5th round of the heavy weight boxing bout held at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.
“I promised i would knock him out and i have done just that”, Odeke remarked after the fight where every jab was passionately cheered.
In the Other fights, Badru ‘Mr Crush’ Lusambya won courtesy of a third round knock out over Tanzanian opponent, Yazidi Saidi while Juma Waiswa beat Patrick Atumhairwe on points after 10 rounds of thrilling welter weight action.
In the last fight of the night, Edward ‘Messiah’ Kakembo beat Raymond ‘Desert Lion’ Ssentongo in a fight that was also televised live on NBS TV.
Inter sport International organised the fights in conjunction with Mount Zion Hotel, Mogas Oil and National Council of Sports.
