Ugandan kick-boxer, Titus Tugume will be challenging Nigerian ‘Ibo Boy’ in Full Contact Super Welter Weight African continental title Fight on Saturday 29-March at the magnificent Safaricom indoor arena in Nairobi, Kenya.
“It is with great pleasure to notify you that Mr. Tugume Titus has been cleared by World Kickboxing Federation (WKF) to challenge Nigerian Champion, Obinka Afam Chigozie (aka Ibo Boy) for the vacant Welter Weight African Continental title”. Reads part of the invitation letter addressed to UPDF sports department.
When contacted about the fight, Titus who is only waiting for clearance from Uganda Kickboxing federation confirmed the fight and said he is undergoing thorough training ahead of the fight.
The fight that will be broadcast live on Super Sport 9 East and organized by Sports-Worth Events & Promotions has been sanctioned under the amateur and professional kickboxing rules of WKF.
