Celebrated Ugandan kick boxer, Moses Golola in brilliant fashion defeated Ronald Mugula in a non title 5 round fight held at Freedom city on Friday night. All the three judges scored 50-48, 49-47 and 49-49 in favor of Golola.

“I came to finish the mission and prove to the whole world that am the undisputed king of kick boxing in Uganda”, Golola Remarked shortly after referee, Charles Wandera Mugoya Declared Him Champion.

Mugula, who fell to the canvas virtually in every round conceded defeat. ” If those are the results, let them be”, Mugula Said.

The fight, arguably one of the most attended in history — with over 4000 fans in attendance started at around 1:30AM. The Crowd cheered passionately at every jab, kick and ironically the misses.

Golola showed urgency and commitment to bury home the fight, and his confidence balanced was in superb show as he even bought off time to showcase his dancing skills in the 3rd round.

Mugula, whose major threat came in the early seconds of round 2, embarrassingly kissed the canvas more than once in each of 5 rounds. The rain drizzles continued till the end of the fight and the crowd patiently awaited for the verdict that saw Moses Golola declared champion.
