Sports Club Victoria University football club scored two quick goals in a space of 2 minutes in the opening 5 minutes of their 3 – 0 victory at the expense of a disorganized Entebbe football club side that only started the game with one substitute and no coach on the bench.
Strikers, Noah Ssemakula and Dan Nsubuga nodded two early goals in the game’s opening five minutes to give the home side a morale boosting start ahead of the league fixture over Entebbe f.c.
Entebbe f.c player, Moses Ssekasana, who joined the teammates after half an hour of the game gone by, nodded into his own goal net minutes after coming on following a Martin Mpuuga powerful effort from yet another Isaac Muleme corner.
Entebbe f.c started the game with a depleted bench with only a single substitute and without a coach after Matia Lule continued his no show act on the bench and his deputy, Alex Gitta, too missed the game.
In the other game, KCC won at Kavumba Stadium 1 – 2. Tonny Odur and Michael Birungi got KCC’s goals, while Siraje Turyamuremba had scored the visitor’s opener.
The victory pushes Victoria to 4th on 35 points from 19 outings, 3 short of leaders, Vipers, who have played 20 games. KCC is 7th on 33 points from 17 games played.
