Nemostars captain George Aporu say the two time league winner won’t return the same side as they have left for the 33rd edition of CAVB Africa Club Championship. The team left Tuesday morning for Sousse Tunisia to take part in their second straight continental engagement after their maiden appearance last year in Tripoli.

“We are going there to learn from the best,” Apuru said. “But also showcase what we are made off, and I am confident we won’t return the same as we left.”

“Our good run last year had a lot to do with we what we were exposed at while in Libya, and am optimistic it will be the same story this time again,” he added. While in Tripoli, Nemostars played six games winning three and losing three and missed a quarterfinal berth by a whisker.

Aporu believes to be a better side on their return, Louis Mubangizi is upbeat about bettering the Tripoli performance. “We finished eleventh in Libya, our mission is to do better that in Tunisia, there is no short cut about that” Mubangizi told kawowo.com.
