University Football league – season 3:

Wed, 26th March Result: Kyambogo 1 – 0 Ndejje University

Thurs, 27th March Fixture: KIU – Nkumba University

The Nile Special University football league returns this afternoon (Thursday) as Kampala International University (KIU) hosts Nkumba University at the Nsambya grounds in Kampala.

Nkumba University on one point after being held to a non-scoring home draw last week by Kyambogo University will rely on team skipper Douglas Muganga, free dribbling left footed winger, Martin Sseruwagi and the aggressive striker Faizo Muwawu.

KIU’s dangerous winger cum striker, Ibrahim Kazindula will use his vast experience garnered over the years to inspire the home over Nkumba University.

In the only fixture played on Wednesday, Kyambogo University won 1 – 0 over the visiting home team, Ndejje University.

The league is organized by Red Rhino sports and is exclusively sponsored by Nile Special, Rwenzori Mineral water, Pepsi, Spedag Interfreight, Money Gram, United Assurance Company (UAP), Airtel Uganda and NBS T.V among others.
