Match day 24 FSL fixtures:

Tues, 1st April 2014:

Entebbe Vs KCC – Wankulukuku Stadium (4:30 pm)

Bright Stars Vs Proline – Nakivubo Stadium (4:30 pm)

Kampala City Council football club (KCC f.c) makes the short trip to the Mutesa II stadium in Wankulukuku stadium to play an unpredictable Entebbe football club side in one of the two FUFA super league fixtures available on match day 24.

The league’s defending champions are currently lying 3rd with 40 points, having played just 20 games with the leaders, Vipers on 44 from 23 games.

Entebbe will use the fixture to continue the relegation fight. Languishing in 13th place with 16 points off 22 games, Entebbe requires the 3 points to get safe because the two sides, with whom they are facing the axe battle – Masaka L.C and Proline face off on Friday at the Recreational stadium in Masaka.

Left back, Sande Mukiibi, William Kalemba and Muhammed Zziwa will be tasked to handle the attacking threat posed by William Wadri, Brian Majwega, Tom Matisko and the league top scorer, Tony Odur.

Entebbe themselves will look forward to fully utilize the ball handling skills of brothers, Lawrence Bajja and Abram Ndugwa coupled with the experience of Yusuf Kinene and the ever ch-icky Moses Ssekasana for the goals against Fahad Kawooya’s marshaled back-line.

At Nakivubo Stadium, Bright Stars host Proline in the other battle expected to be a thriller. Bright Stars lie in the 10th place with 24 points and needs to pick up the points to avoid any benefit of doubt.

What makes this fixture a cracker is the fact that Proline, on same points as Entebbe f.c (16) need the 3 valuable points to have any survival hope of playing in the top flight football league in the country next season.

Bight Stars will look to the goal scoring form Hassan Kikoyo in attack for the much needed break through as Meddie Kaketo supplies in the balls while Proline, one of the most confident teams on the ball in the league will strive for the 3 points at stake should Paddy Muhumuza replicate the form of old as his under study, Hardary Mubiru readies to make amends.

U-23 left back, Simon Namwanja remains a crucial key component for Proline as he defends and attacks in equal proportion.

The rest of the teams will play on Friday.
